Debug.DrawLine Stops Functioning In Game View (Editor) When SteamVR plugin Is Imported
Has anyone else had this issue?
I can replicate in 2017 (newest patch) with 100%.
Create a New Project
Add 2 objects and a script to draw a
Debug.DrawLine()
between themPlay (see the line in the game view)
Import SteamVR
Play (no line in game view; still in scene view)
Does it turn off a gizmo or something? I have them all turned on in the game view of my project.
Thanks,
I had the same issues, and also ensured all gizmos were checked to no avail. I didn't make a connection to S$$anonymous$$mVR but now that you mention it, that could have been the case as we are using it too.
I'm sorry but work required we move on from this issue so I never got a chance to even see if Unity fixed it or not. Currently, OpenVR used in the new XR system (I've only tested with their github release) seems to behave fine.
