Annotate objects in Game Mode
Hi all I am looking for a script to annotate object in game mode, free or paid. the requirements are:
annotate 3d objects in real-time
annotation don't need to appear in 3dspace but on ui text at the bottom of the screen
annotation are saved and pops up every time the player clicks the object or he/she pass near it when touring around.
if possible I would like to have words linked to other objects (for example if the player writes:
this is a yellow cube and it has a little brother on the other side of the town called orange ball
the word orange ball is an a hyperlink to that object and the player when clicking on the word gets transported in that location.
I know that the last one is quite complicated, especially to implement it in Gamemode so that maybe the first 3 are fine for now
I could not find anything on the asset store and nothing in the forum. Many thanks in advance!
Have you checked the asset store to see if it has the basis for what you want? I doubt you could get everything but you might be able to get pieces that make it easier.
I saw few things but only in edit mode, nothing in game mode
I'm very skeptical someone has something that meet your exact requirements laying around ready to post, here. It's probably going to be built.
If you want a packaged and ready-to-go solution, I recommend you check out Unity Connect. If you are flexible on the rights for the scripts, you might be able to get a decent price. You'd be funding creating a new product for the other party and the provider would be cutting you a deal on the development costs for that reason.
Whoa! Thanks I did not know about Unity connect I will check there for sure. Thanks again!
