Discovery / Connexion stopped working between apk and unity while .exe is still ok
Hi everyone,
I'm working on an asymetrical lan game for android & pc to learn about Unity and networking, and i was able to setup a basic discovery + connexion between 2 players.
At first everything was ok . With either Unity / an exe build / an apk running as host and any of the others as client, discovery and networking was working fine in both directions.
But at some point i started to face a weird behaviour between Unity and the apk build...
With Unity as host / Android as client => discovery is working (i see the IP change on android), but the app then fails to connect as client, even if i put the IP manually in the network manager HUD
With Android as host / Unity as client => discovery fails (the IP is never received) but i can connect if i put the IP manually & join as client manually with the HUD
Between Unity & the exe build, or the app & the exe build, every thing is still working in both directions.
Any one knows what could be the problem here ? Or where & how i could investigate this ? I don't think i messed with the settings but i'm quite new to Unity & game development so...
