2d Object Increases in Speed with Each Collision
I'm trying to make a 2d Breakout-style game. I have a ball with a rigidbody 2d and a physics material 2d attached. The problem is that the ball increases in speed after each collision with the paddle or brick.
Why does this happen? How do I get the ball to bounce at a single, consistent speed?
Images of the ball's properties are attached for reference.
