change dropdown value through script
Hi everybody,
I have a dropdown whose options are added through a script which reads an excel file. the problem is that as soon as the game starts the default value of the value goes to 0 and so the first option is authomatically selected. I want to avoid this by setting the value of the selection to -1 but cannot figure out a way to do it.
I tried also to add an empty string as 0 value but cannot find a way to completely hide the object in game (i.e. if I open the dropdown it shows the empty string as an option).
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks
Fabio
