Connect Unity3D app with ESP8266

So the thing is that I want to make a mobile application with which I can send data from my phone to an ESP8266 connected on same network(also on different network later). I'm making this simple application on Unity3D using C#. What I want to do is that send 4 integers from my phone(Unity3D app), get them at my Node MCU or ESP8266 and send back those 4 integers(after blinking 4 LEDs and doing some calculations) from ESP8266 to my phone(on Unity3D app).

HOW CAN I DO THAT? HOW TO READ AND WRITE THAT DATA from/on both ends?
