Build only goes to a black screen when loaded onto Android phone.
I'm on Unity version 5.3 and whenever I build to Android I only get a black screen and a quick crash to the home screen.
I have also tried making a very simple project. This project has one scene with one picture on it but the build will go no further then a black screen.
It was just as easy as reinstalling Unity 5.3.
I think my issue had to do with something my last question. I wasn't able to find my build path. Once I sorted that out by installing the Android platform issue I got an error message along the lines of, "Installed Android but was expecting Unity 5.1" I'm only assuming that was the issue.
