Get input while running in background
Hello, i want to check the user input while the game is running in background (when it is out of focus?)
Run in background is True, but the input is not detected while the focus is on anything else then the game, is there any way to get the input without focus?
Can you explain a bit more clearly or explain why do u need to check input running in background...Then it will be helpful for all...
Isn't the definition of running "in the background" precisely that an application doesn't capture user input?
i want to create a little window that shows up my keyinput while i am strea$$anonymous$$g and playing something else, if the focus is on another window unity does not react to inputs. I want to keep track of my inputs while i am doing something else...
I'm having the same problem, i'm trying to access mouse input when the application is not in focus even if the run in background is true it does not change that input. gives me nothing except for the mouse position that i can access at any time
Has anyone figured this out? I know that if you write your own DirectX plugin you can call SetCooperativeLevel and tell it to run in the background but I would rather use the Input system to get the buttons states.
