Player parent to platform problem
Hi all, just a quick question.
I made a script that parents player to a platform, when player steps on platform's collider it parents him to that platform and connects him with fixed joint to that platform, which works great, player doesn't slide and can move, but when the platform moves a little bit faster, player has a hard time moving in the direction the platform is moving. Now I know someone said its not good to parent rigidbody to another rigidbody, but even if I remove parenting of these two rigidbodies and only use fixed joint I still have the same problem (plus another problem where player starts to shake when on platform).
So my question is does anyone know how to make player rigidbody not get affected by the drag force (or what ever it is thats slowing him down) but still be connected to the platform?
PS - Im working on a 2D game so I use Rigidbody2D
