How does the new embedded materials in 2017.2 works?
I am trying to configure the models to use the new embedded materials feature, to reduce the clutter in my project but I can't seem to get it to work. If I switch to embedded it still point to the existing materials and if I delete the remap in the importer, it does use the embedded materials, however then I am not allowed to make any change to the material, I can't set the shader or any property, making it kinda pointless. Is it buggy or I am missing something?
