Disappearing things?
I'm making a racing game, and one of the parts you need to have to make it a game is the UI. This includes the lap counter, the timer, the minimap, and, should you choose to include it, items. When I go to build game, for testing, the UI doesn't show up. In the editor, adding a Planar Reflection Probe causes the UI to disappear entirely. Since this is "disappearing thing"s in general, I thought I'd also bring up my issue with the lights. The lights I use are almost all realtime lights (Dir, Spot, Pnt). With the HDRP, you're given the option of realtime area lights. These are the most useful, since my PC doesn't have the strength to handle a lightmap bake without blowing up. They work fine, but only when they're on-screen. Same for the reflection probes. This is a bigger issue than it might seem like, considering that a grand majority of the tracks use lighting to set the environment of the track. Having the lights and reflections stop working after you drive by them doesn't make any sense to me. Sure, it might be to reduce rendering costs, but it's the HDRP. Focused on quality. This isn't quality, at least to me. Half of this game will never see the light of day again it I can't get this figured out, so please help me.
