Android app is laggy
Hello com,
i got a problem with my game on the phone(android). Every time the player hits a collider(normal box collider) to add 1 point and play a sound the game gets a laggy moment.
I tried to force the app to target a framerate of 300 and it works a bit better but it is still laggy.
On the pc(unity 4.6 free) everything works very well but this makes it very difficult to find out what to do.

My first thought is to check the size of the audio file. If it's crazy big (HD), your phone might just be lagging trying to play this large file, but your PC could handle it without lag. Maybe see what happens if you remove the audio and test it on your phone?
I deleted some audiofiles and you are right, after deleting the file it works fine.
ca. 20 collisions and 16-17 without lag 4-5 very very small lags.
Try downsizing the audio files. Chances are people won't notice a difference on a sound effect
I dereased the size to the $$anonymous$$imum of 32kbps and now it works better but there are still small lags on every collision. But it works better than before.
