Are there global particle settings? / My size doesn't fit tutorial size.
Hello fellow programmers!
I tried to follow this tutorial to create a fireball effect:
https://youtu.be/T23RGwuSDc4?t=627
As you can see, the particle size of the actual fire is set to a start size from 2 to 5. Assuming that the character he used in the tutorial is around 2m (like they are in my game) and that the particle size fits the effect perfectly, I can't see why the particles in my scene are far too big even though I use the exact same values.
Are there any global settings for particles or does anything else affect particle size? According to Unity's doc the start size should be the size of the particles in meters in world space. Is the character he used just far bigger, properly then around 10m or am I missing something?
Since my particles don't fit for any tutorial I follow, I assume that I am doing something wrong. But my character are definitely 2m in height as they have a capsule collider that is exactly 2m in height and their transforms are not scaled or anything.
Thank you!
