Networking LLAPI and Port Forwarding
Hi all,
While experimenting with the network llapi in Unity, I've come across some less expected problems. The ports which I want to establish a connection are showing open on a port checker, however nothing is able to connect unless I place my server in the DMZ of its router. With DMZ enabled, everything works peachy. I feel like this shouldn't be the case unless Unity is using ports other than the ones I'm establishing within my code using the llapi.
Any tips are appreciated. I'm just hoping to get a better understanding of what is going on. The end goal is to implement one or more NAT-T techniques, but if I'm missing some key aspects of how Unity functions then I might run into more problems.
