can someone tell me how to make my own unity 3D chararcters and make it run and all that stuff
I want to know how to make the characters with the free version so can someone give me some links and show me how to step by step and carefully cause I can get confused easily .And show me where to create the skins, animations ,and where to get it from on google or something.please reply if you know how to and can explain carefully.
If you are wanting to create your own models for your game, your best bet would be by using the 3d modelling program Blender. (It is also available for download through Steam) With it, you can model and animate then import directly to Unity.
As for textures, Blender has a built-in texture creator (Texture Paint) but if you want a program with specific features, use Photoshop (or alternatively Gimp).
As for providing links to examples and such, a simple Youtube search of tutorials for either program will yield hundreds of results. They also each have forums to ask specific questions on as well.
