Does Resources.Load not fail on purpose?
Is in an intended behavior for Unity to not throw an exception when the Resources.Load method tries to load a nonexistent file? I was expecting to catch at the very least a NullReferenceException, but my code just kept on running as if nothing was wrong. I even removed the whole Resources folder just to make sure, but there were still no exceptions thrown nor caught. Does Resources.Load handle its own exceptions, or was the matter just deemed inconsequential (since no one would presumably try to load a nonexistent or missing file)?
