Can asset packages not be a pain with repositories?
The Setup : I use packages from the asset store. I commit my project to github. I do not include the asset store package in the repository.
The Problem : After downloading the repo and package(s), the links to the prefabs are broken and I have to reassign each piece to its corresponding prefab.
Can I not include assets from the store to the repo and keep the prefab links?
I would like to use unity asset store packages similar to node. I would like to exclude pushing unity asset packages like node_modules and just download them after the repo while maintaining prefab links. If not, should this be a feature request?
