5 Player Models in Scene and already about 1.3 m Verts ?
Hey there !
Im currently trying to programm a little FPS game. So i went to shop and bought the Movement Animset Pro. Theres already an "lowpoly" player model in it, so i just played around with the animations and the model. But i just noticed, when i have 5 Models spawned in, the engine calculates about 1.3 millionen Verts and 950k Tris... Also when i come closer the FPS are dropping down to 50. Without them i got about 300-400 fps... Is that normal ? Anyway to improve that ? Or what else can i do ?
442 shadow casters?! I'd say there's something wrong in that scene or with those models. If you remove all thw soldier models what do you get?

Hmmm... Did you deactivated the Realtime GI and Baked GI options at Lightning Settings window? 'Cause the processor don't has anything to do with FPS. Only GPU. If CPU is overcharged it will either crash the application or cause lag spikes. If you deactivate Realtime Global Illumination and Baked Global Illumination, wich are both CPU and GPU intensive, then bud, you'll have a lot less trouble while editing or tesing your game. Hope I hepled.

How many vertices are in each of your 3D models? If that's the cause, you could take them into Blender and use a Decimate modifier to reduce the number of vertices a little. Of course, if you reduce it too much, the quality will worsen, but you can tweak it as you like.
Those modells are low poly ones. So about 5-10k i think. But im gonna take a look at it :)
