AssetBundle Manager Local Server doesn't work
I'm attempting to run the Local AssetBundle Server, but have been unable to get it to serve any assets.
Here's what I know:
When I run my game, I receive the error Asset Bundle download is complete, but no data have been received
The server is successfully running on port 7888. When I use "sudo lsof -i -n -P | grep TCP" in my terminal I can see a process named "mono" with TCP *:7888 (LISTEN)
When I use Chrome to access 127.0.0.1:7888, I see an empty web page
When I use Chrome to access 127.0.0.1:7888/iOS/shaders.manifest, I see an empty web page
In fact, If I put absolutely anything after 127.0.0.1:7888, I continue to get an empty web page - no errors, no data.
I have built my iOS asset bundles to the standard place: project_root/AssetBundles/iOS/
I've been using the Asset Store version, though I've tried playing with the bitbucket version as well, with a different set of problems. Currently, the bitbucket one won't even start the server process.
I'm on:
Unity 5.6.3f1
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
Answers to any of the following would be helpful for me to fix the issue:
Why isn't the server serving up any bundles?
What's the standard URL I should expect the bundles to be served at?
I see the server is an executable. I thought .exe files couldn't run on mac - why does this run?
Is there a way to see an output log of the server?
Thank you!
Any luck with solving this? I'm getting the same error message "Asset Bundle download is complete, but no data have been received", but can't find anymore info on it.
