Use FPSController/FirstPersonCharacter to Rotate a scene with a Joystick
I am trying to use the FPSController prefab with a FirstPersonCharacter to "look around" a scene (rotating viewpoints, not moving positionally) with a joystick controller. Do I need to write an additional script, like these, for this or should the prefab take care of it? How do I tell which axes correspond to the two joysticks on my controller? First time using Unity and FPSController.
Everything I've tried so far causes the joystick to move the scene positionally, but not rotating the viewpoint, but moving the mouse around my scene (instead of a joystick) is working and the Oculus is working too.
Thanks for your help!
I'm running: - Windows 10 - Unity 5 - DK2 - 12-button game controller - Oculus Runtime 0.8
