Why textmesh is pink ?
why textmesh not work as it should? it is pink. I've checked that the material is attached to the 3D Text GameObject
When I use the GUI text , it does work even without material , and when the Font Material attached , also looks pink. Why is this happening?

Attention
IF YOU USE Unity 4 or less settings might be different because I am a Unity 5 user
Generally Stuff is rendered pink when IT DOES NOT HAVE A SPECIFIED COLOR Like in line renderer
Now How to fix this=
//Not a script
1)Delete your old text mesh and create a new one
2)Go to mesh renderer component
3)Cast Shadows should be on and recieve shadows should be on(true)
4)Check use light probes and Reflection probes should be set to Blend probes
5)Anchor override should be empty(None (transform))
6)Go to TextMesh component
7)Set Offset Z to 0
8)Font Style should be normal
9)Font Face(Font file stored in disk) should be arial
Reccomended: Now what did I do wrong(optional):
Start Changing every settings to Know your error!
I've checked everything and is as it should, but still the error. When was the version 5.3, the textmesh malfunctioned, but the upgrade to version 5.4 began the error.
could you give more details about the text shown in the inspector
