Android build restarts on uninstall
Hello,
So I have a unity game I'm working on. For some reason whenever I push a new build onto my phone it restarts my phone, causing me to "try again" as the phone disconnects from the computer/unity. I'm 99% sure this is because it's uninstalling the app which is causing the phone to restart. I've tried manually uninstalling the app and it also causes the phone to restart. Is there a simple fix for this or a guide to troubleshoot?
Thanks
Edit: This is happening on all projects. I did a test of an old project that didnt have this issue and it has it now. I also made an empty project and tried double building/uninstalling and it's happening too.
please explain what did you do? like what you did in new project? do you changed mainfist or something?
I changed nothing. Just made a new blank project and ran build and run. Then tried uninstalling on my Note 4 and it restarts the phone. I just had my roommate try it out on his own computer. He installed a fresh copy of unity, android studio and the last JD$$anonymous$$7. Then he made an empty project, set the external tools to point to android studio and jdk7 locations. Then he turned on developer mode and enabled usb debugging on his phone. And then he plugged his phone in, tried to build and run, then uninstalled the app on his phone(also a note 4) and it restarted when uninstalling.
I found out the culprit is the galaxy note 4. I built the game on my Nexus 7 tablet and have had no trouble with it. Both my roommate and my's Galaxy Note 4's exhibit the restart on uninstall. I'm not sure if there's something I can do to fix this.
