Rigidbody object glitching upon colliding with static object,Rigidbody object spinning and glitching when colliding with static object
Hello! So I'm not particularly well versed with Unity 3D and I've run into an issue I'm having trouble fixing.
I have a rigid body object that I want my player to push up against a larger, static object to create something for them to jump on. However, when the rigid body object collides with the static one, it starts to freak out, spinning, jumping back, glitching through the static object regardless of the box collider, etc.
I've tried playing around with the rigid body object's settings, changing the collision detection to continuous, adding a kinematic rigid body to the object its colliding with, etc. but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
