Unity freezes after adding a new script

Even if I create an entirely new project with nothing in it and add a new script (doesn't matter if C# or JavaScript), Unity freezes and I have to use task manager to close it. When I delete the script from project's folder it opens normally. If I try to open project with the script still in it, it doesn't open - just leaves a process in the task manager.
