Paralel Scene Loading for Adventure Game
Hey guys, I am trying to find a solition for this for serveral days now.
I want to do a seamless Sceneswitch without loading screen for my adventure game. For that i want to load scenes that can be switched to for the current scene while the player is still in the current scene in background. When the player switches to one of the next scenes the game should just activate the allready loaded scene.
for testing i created 2 AsyncOperations :
void Start () {
op1 = SceneManager.LoadSceneAsync(1, LoadSceneMode.Additive);
op1.allowSceneActivation = false;
op2 = SceneManager.LoadSceneAsync(0, LoadSceneMode.Additive);
op2.allowSceneActivation = false;
}
void LoadSceneOne()
{
op1.allowSceneActivation = true;
}
void LoadSceneTwo()
{
op2.allowSceneActivation = true;
}
but i just found out that i cant change to order in witch the scenes are loaded, speaking i cant set the sceond scene active without seting the first one active. So i it seems i cant do it that way.
Is it possible to prepeare scenes loads like that in Unity? If yes pls tell me how :D
