Unity 5.5.1f1 crashes after project selection screen

I have a problem with my Unity 5.5.1f1 I have windows 8.1 MSI GT70 2PE I had problems with "Attemp execution of no execute memory" or something like that. so when I installed first time, I think it couldn't get installed correctly. so I unistalled it. I have tried to install it several times. on x64 and on x86, I even tried with 5.4.1 but nothing seems to work. what I get is: I run Unity, get the splash screen and goes to the screen when you choose project. and once I choose to make new one or the sample it came with, it freezes. it show no "program not responding" on the program itself. so I enter task manager and it shows "not responding" I don't know what to do. I checked if it had lavasoft files but it had none. nothing seems to work. I even consider upgrading to windows 10, to see if that solves it. by the way, once you uninstall, some files remains. and I think that might be the cause. due to my first failed attempt, there might be some files that haven't gotten erased and that are reused.

by the way, I installed for other purposes, the a driver updating program and registry error correction program and others. and in the driver updating program it says I don't have Visual C ++ 2013 (x86) and (x64). but I have 2005, 2007, 2011, 2015 does it have to do something with it also? (by the way, I can't install it because it already has 2015)
