.c4d file does not carry the animation into unity
I am doing a simple animation with a tube object's slice attribute. Then saving the scene as .c4d file and then importing this into unity by simply dragging and dropping the file into assets window. When I click onto the imported c4d file, under the inspector window of unity there is animation tab. However, it says thawt No animation data available for this model
.
I watched this tutorial, which simply exports from blender. I also installed the cinema4D plugin for unity, at least I suppose so, since otherwise I wouldn't be able to see the c4d specs under the inspector window.
Exporting .fbx yields the same result.
If you're using Blender then there's no need to export to a c4d file. Unity will import .blend files natively. I suspect the c4d exported in blender is not great.
