Unity cannot find compatible Android device?
When I try to build Unity to my Android phone it says it cannot find any compatible devices.
I have the SDK and JDK 8.0 installed.
I have set the path to the SDK in Unity.
USB debugging is enabled.
I have tried restarting unity and my phone but it still doesn't work.
I am using Android 7.0. I have the 7.0 and 8.0 SDK platforms installed as well as Google USB drivers.
I'm new to all this so maybe I'm missing something.
Have you tried making a build without build and run to see if you can make an apk first?
There are a lot of things that could prevent building and running to a phone so it would be good to know if it will at least build the apk.
I have had a lot of things that have prevented building and running in the past before.
For example, I use LG phones, which means I need to go and get the LG mobile drivers. I've had my phone not set up as a media device. I've had cables that have been power transfer only.
It builds the AP$$anonymous$$. Hmm, nothing you have mentioned seems to be the issue for me. It just seems there is a problem finding my phone. Same thing happens with Unity Remote 5.

First check if USB Debugging is enabled on your phone.
You can do this by going to SETTINGS -> ABOUT PHONE -> tap BUILD NUMBER seven times. Once you enable Developer Options, enable USB Debugging Option and connect your phone to PC and check always trust this PC.
Now download the Unity Remote app from Google Play Store.
In unity go to EDIT -> EDITOR -> under Unity Remote click on DEVICE drop down menu and select ANY ANDROID DEVICE.
I think that should do it.
For more help on this refer the steps here.
Hope this Helps!
