Is Unity right for creating a learning/training app?
Hi!
First of all, sorry if someone already posted this, but I could not find any question exactly like this in recent time.
Im looking into creating a learning app with game like features. It will be built up around a learning path in different categories, category tests and also some interactive material (such as arranging text boxes in a certain order) and short instructional animated videos. The whole app will be in 2D with rather simple UI.
Further, there will be a small database of test questions that the users can practice on, before taking the real test IRL. There will be about 300-400 questions in the database used for multiple choice training in the app. (The database part I will get external help with)
Im also looking into other platforms (like Corona), what i do like about Unity is the cross platform possibility as well as the speed for the end user when using Unity based games, even if it draws battery power.
I know Unity is firstly a game engine for creating advanced 3D and 2D games, but any other thoughts on the possibility of using Unity for this purpose?
Would be very thankful for your input!
