Emailing answers directly isn't how these forums are intended to work (if answers are emailed directly to the poster, no one else can benefit from them). I think you can choose to receive email notifications however, which will let you know when someone has posted to your thread.

http://www.youtube.com/user/tornadotwins I can seriously recommend this. I was a total noob at Unity 2 weeks ago. Now from only watching half of that series, I have made a game. You should really pick this option.
Ah... thanks m8!
That one really helped me! best answer so far :P
The TornadoTwins really helped me too... They are very awesome!

I am just starting too, and I found that working through the 3dplatform tutorial and the scripting tutorial were a great place to start. Then browsing through the API so I wasn't duplicating work. Good Luck!

If you're just starting out and no nothing, I would really recommend the Tornado Twins training CDs over at VTC.

http://www.vtc.com/products/Game-Development-for-iPhone-iPad-Using-Unity-iPhone-Tutorials.htm
The CDs cover Unity 2.6, but since it's covering the fundamentals all the material still applies to Unity 3. FWIW, both courses cover a lot of the same material so if you're on a tight budget then I would only get the first course - Game Development Using Unity 3D.
Tried to purchase the CDs but those guys dont ship their stuff to Sweden!
thanks anyways// Anton

Read, and I mean REALLY read the manual, reference guide, and scripting API, along with doing the tutorials. Even if you aren't planning on using a particular feature or function right away, you want bells to go off in your head later on, "I remember there's a function for that."
