3D Bacteria Game Environment
Hi, I'm new to the unity and the community and just would like to ask for some tips where to start. I'm currently planning to start a 3D Bacteria Game. I just want to ask if this would be possible to do in unity. So, here is the concept.
The game can only be played in devices/gadgets with an Android Operating System. It is a survival game wherein you are the character in third-person perspective, using antibiotics as a weapon to annihilate bad bacteria while using the correct and right amount of antibiotics. This game includes power-ups, good bacteria or cells which can help you in fighting. (I imagine it like runes in dota 2 but u have to pass through them to activate it wherein it will be activated and good bacteria reinforcements will help u)
Using a movement controller, the player can avoid direct contact with the bacteria. The whole duration of the game is untimed and will only end after the player loses hit points or the bacteria indicator reaches the maximum percentage.(The bacteria indicator shows the bacteria population percentage, when it hits 100%, u lose the game, or the level)
The problem is that there are no existing free 3d models about bacteria or something in the asset store. I've already seen 3D modeling of a chess piece using an image in blender which I quite saw the idea of doing it also on a bacterium image. So, my main problem now is how would I do the environment? For example it's a petri dish. I'm trying to watch underwater unity tutorials hoping to come up with a plan to just edit the color of water of some to like bloody, you know, what's inside our body. The blood cells floating(?) like the images or 3D model of bacteria in playstore or like the environment of 3D space games. Where do I start? Thank you very much.

I just found a similar project and I want to start something like this. http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/microbes-bacteria-shader.241675/
