importing objects to unity

Question

does the importer of unity also import the texture of the objects that i created in blender? for example, if I drag the 3d object with texture to unity, is it as is as I see it in blender?

It seems it does not import materials made using Blender. If you UV map the models and texture them that way all should be well.
