Runtime mesh generation from text file
Hi.
I am trying to achieve a terrain generated from a text file. Let's say the text file contains this: "0001221122011122". Imagine a plane with 16 vertices/points. Each number in the text file would then represent the height of the specific point on the mesh. So "0001" will be the first 4 vertices horizontally on the mesh.
The result of this would be a very jagged plane/terrain, so is it also possible to smoothen a generated mesh?
And how do I start creating a C# script that generates a mesh in that way?
Best regards, Andreas.
