Working behind a proxy on client site
Hi
I am on client site here and tried to download two new assets I'd bought. They downloaded on my laptop I have with me (Win64 Surface Book 2 tethered to my Hauawei mobile) but on the desktop on client site the stuck at the dreaded 0 percent...
I immediately knew it was a proxy thing.
I looked it up and found posts on setting environment variables but it still didn't work. Fortunately I dug out an old email from a discussion with client infrastructure last year when I used NPM.
I'll post the settings as my answer as i've asked this to supply a solution that may help others or point them in the right direction.

Initially I created ENV variables (I'm on WIn 64) and they did not work. I modified the ENV variables to this format (used before with npm and obtained from infrastructure here)
http://domain%5Cusername:password@servername:port/
Obviously substitute https for your https environment variable.
I hope this helps.
