Visual Studio Community 2015 Hangs during Install
When running the most recent install of Unity with the included Visual Studio software, the Visual Studio install hangs.
The bar under 'Acquiring' is full, and the bar under 'Applying' has a very small amount of progress. I let the install run all night, and it just hangs and says, "retrying microsoft visual studio services hub".
Other than that it won't do anything.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? I can't find information anywhere.
Having a same/similar problem. The Download Assistant is on 'Installing $$anonymous$$icrosoft Visual Studio Community 2015...' and the Visual Studio window is full on Acquiring and stuck with a small amount of Applying: $$anonymous$$icrosoft Build Tools 14.0 (x86).
Edit: I ended up force quitting both installers. Unity seems to work fine. When I restarted my computer, the Visual Studio window came back up on its own, created a restore point and then got stuck in the same place, only this time it says '$$anonymous$$icrosoft Build Tools 14.0 (amd64)' under the Applying bar.

Actually, I had something similar while Installing VS 2015, I waited for 3 hours but the bar was not moving so I just ignored it and restarted my PC and it was working. I installed VS 2015 from Unity 5 Standard Assets though.. Can you post a screenshot of your problem because I can't exactly remember what I encountered but I do think it was same.

It takes a while, but it works! I started looking for answers, I don't know 30 minutes ago and then all of a sudden the install kept on going. I didn't even do anything! It just works
