At what point do you need a license?
Hi, I'm sure a lot of you developers out there have experienced a similar path. You come up with an idea, you download unity personal, you start building that idea, that idea is pretty cool so you show it to other people, that idea gets really cool, and you might think someone is willing to buy it. Success, you have your first customer!
At what point in the above path do you need to upgrade to a plus or pro account? In the beginning, you probably didn't even know if you were creating something for sale. You were just experimenting, so how would you have known to upgrade at that point?

When you first use Unity 5.4, you should see a setup screen asking for what license you intend to use.
You only need to upgrade to Unity Pro if you have in excess of $100k in your first fiscal year.

Thanks for your response...
Is that 100k cap for your entire business? Just revenue from the products created with Unity?
For example, if I'm a small video post-production company, making most of my income from 2D video editing, then create and sell a small game using 3D to sell to a client, what revenue do I consider for the license? The entire revenue from my post production company, or just the revenue from the game?
