Executing a script in editor when creating a new gameobject (or instantiating one form a prefab dragging it in)
Is there a way to run a function that operates on a new gameobject Transform when creating it in the editor? I'm making a 2D open world game and I want to make the gameobject child of another parent gameobject representing the chunk. I've already set everything up with chunk, handling the position, loading and anlouading etc.. I just want to automatize this process without parenting everything manually afterwards.
All I need is a sript that executes in edit mode and that can access the trasform of that Gameobject
