Animation Won't Start
function Update ()
{ if (Input.GetButtonDown ("Fire1")) {
animation.play("walke");
}
}
why doesnt animation start? p.s walke is name of animation
I faced similar kind of issue last time, I am still searching for some proper solution.

target your animation object. In cs: Public GameObject player; void Update(){ player.animation.play("walke"); }
In inspector: drag and drop player into script.

You may want to check in the Debug menu if the animation type is set to 1 instead of 2
