Unity web player problems with facebook
Hi guys, I've been using Unity over 1 year now and I'm glad to use it because of it's potential to create games for mobile platforms. Two weeks ago at work, we received a project to develop a facebook game and so I pushed in the idea to use Unity. Today I'm regretting this. One of the reason is that it requires users to download Unity player .. and this is something the client is not liking at all. Secondly .. and this comes to my problem .. the rendering happens in front of all other html elements.
My game needs facebook's permission since I'm grabbing some of the user's information. The problem is that when a new user plays the game, facebook asks for permission in a popup window. Now due to the rendering being always on top, the pop up window hides behind the unity player or the main browser site. Normal users won't notice this and will think the game does not work as it will halt to wait for user's permission.
Is there any way how I can fix this? Maybe a workaround to make the rendering as part of the HTML or something? any ideas?
