What does the NullReferenceException mean? and just how do I fix this problem?

Hey Richard is once again texting just telling ya that I got these messages that say:NullReferenctException: Object reference not set to an object EnemyAttack.Start()(at Assets/Scripts/Scripts/EnemyAttack.cs17 (this same goes for NullReferenceException no. cs:28)
