Geometry Shader not writing to depth texture
I have written a shader, which adds grass using a geometry shader, and all that in a pass on top of a surface shader. The generated grass should not cast a shadow, but receive one, and as it seems it needs a correct value in the depth texture to work properly.
my problem is that the geometry shader doesnt seem to write to the depth texture, so the shadows that are being displayed are just those that are cast onto the ground below, which is not what i want, and the only solution i have found so far to add to the depth buffer, is by enabling shadow casting, which is not what i want.
