Why LayoutGroup and LayoutElement has a RectTransform width?
Hi everybody,
as in the title, why LayoutGroup and LayoutElement has a RectTransform width?
They are supposed to modify their size based on the children or on the min/preferred sizes, so why should I edit the RectTransform sizes? At least I expected it to be disabled.
This have really no sense to me, and driving me crazy.
Please help, thanks.

Another big problem I'm encountering each edit I do is that the Scene doesn't really update itself after the edit (of the component parameters).
I need to move the object somewhere else in the hierarchy and the then move it back again to see the scene updating on the editor...
The sense of this??? Please explain because I can't really figure it out...
Still think some behaviour are strange, btw found this: https://docs.unity3d.com/$$anonymous$$anual/UIAutoLayout.html may be helpful
