Andriod background audio (like spotify) pauses when starting unity app
Something has changed in Unity / Android. I can no longer listen to audio from other apps when starting a Unity android app, e.g. if Spotify is playing and I start a unity app then Spotify will pause. Even if there are no sound at all in the Unity project. I even disabled the unused Audio listener from Main Camera (in default setup) and the Android background audio is still paused when starting the unity app.
How can I get around this? It's very annoying for users who usually want continue listen to music or pods while playing games.

Have you created a bug report? We are dealing with exactly the same problem with Unity 5.3.4p6 and 5.3.5p1
There is a bug report (807983) and we are actually working on implementing that feature right now.
