How to merge a 2D Quiz with a 3D FPS?
Hey guys, I made a quiz game, which is supposed to help people learn about the topic they want to and started off with some simple computering questions. It's basically a Seriouse Game. Now, because I thought that a quiz game wouldn't be very entertaining over time, I decided to combine it with a type of video game that is very popular and really keeps people playing. So I followed Brackeys Tutorial for how to make a First Person Shooter in Unity. But I created the quiz game as a 2D Project and the FPS as a 3D Project of course.
My goal is that if you die the Question panel (quiz) should pop up (kind of like the panel from "Trouble in Terrorist Town" if a round ends and you see which team won) and if you answer three questions correctly, you may respawn and you get a certain amount of points per right answered question added to your overall scoreboard. (You also get the points if you answer one or two wrong but you only respawn with 3 correct answers!) After the second the same should happen, after the third death the player is out. Of course when you get a question wrong you don't get to respawn. There is limited time to answer the questions. The players are seperated in two teams so the team with no players left loses.
Know any tutorials or have the code? Let me know.
I'm hoping for soon replies.
Have a nice day!
