Why can't I uninstall unity?
Unity is slowing my system, so I'm trying to get rid ofit. However, when I try to, it says all programs using Unity must be closed, even though they are. I'm on Windows 7. Help?

Try restarting your computer and than uninstalling it. That will close down all the programs/background programs unity is running.

If restarting alone isn't enough and it still claims to be in use, try restaring Windows in safe mode by pressing F8 repeatedly while your computer is starting up until it gives you a list of options for booting. Pick the Safe Mode (no networking needed) and then Uninstall it in there and reboot to get back to normal.

Try pressing shift+ctrl+esc, go to processes, and checking for any Unity processes.
