Stuck with XML file for android unity
Hi,
Ive done a working xml file for a windows pc (loading, saving, checking at start, clearing, overwriting etc.).
Now I try to make it work for an android platform. Checked youtube, this forum, other forums and found some tips but nothing that really works for 100%. People write about Resources folder, StreamingAssets folder. About dataPath, persistantDataPath, Path.Combine, Resources.Load, files with '.xml' or without it, strings, bytes, www formats etc., but none of them is showing a clear and simple solution that works for them.
Ive checked many of this tips in combinations with a single scene in unity, canvas with a single text and script that checks xml file and prints that in a text with a little or no success. (build and run).
My two questions are:
Where to store a xml file in a unity project for an android purpose.
How to write a c# script that will find this xml file and display it as a text. Rest I think will be easy to figure out by myself.
I'm using a Windows 7 Pro 64, Unity 2017 (newest version), tablet Nexus 7 with Android Marshmallow 6.01.
Befor you write anything be adviced that Im not looking for an easy 'give-me-script' solution. I would rather prefer for some experts to add clarity and working knowledge to a topic xml-unity-android.

Hey, Luke. $$anonymous$$y development that usually goes very smooth and fast, stopped for days all of a sudden cuz of the same problem. ANd I really want to know if you got any luck with solving it.
