Scriptable Objects or Scenes ,Dungeon game: Use scens or Scriptable object?
Hello
I am still fairly new to making games in Unity, but I am working on a 2d dungeon escape simulator thing right now, and I want to distribute my game to Newgrounds as WebGL
However, I want to manage memory efficiently and make the runtime performance in WebGL as smooth as possible. Regarding this, the thing I am worried about is that if I have too many scenes. Can this cause performance issues? And if so, should I use Scriptable Objects instead of scenes to make transitions from one area of a dungeon to another. And could someone give a hint on what I should be doing if that is the case?
