Inner layer of cylinder mesh doesn't properly function as a collider
Hey guys,
I am currently developing a VR air hockey game with a round table. Because of this, I've used a cylinder which I've modeled in Blender. The puck sometimes hits the inner layer of the cylinder, while other times it doesn't and just goes right through it. I think this is due to the fact that there is no mesh collider visible (when attached as a component to the cylinder) on the inner layer of the cylinder. I've used the convex option to make sure that these meshes (puck and table) collide with each other, however, it doesn't work at all when I do this. Strange enough, the puck more often does collide without the convex enabled.
Hopefully, you could give me advice on how to fix this. Is it possible to fix it in Unity, or do I have to add colliders in Blender for example? If you need visuals to understand the problem better, let me know.
Thank you for your time!
