How to make project compatible with desired Android API level?
When try to build the project for Android API level 14, I'm getting
CommandInvokationFailure: Failed to re-package resources.
It says
res\values-v21\styles.xml:3: error: Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name 'android:Theme.Material.Light.NoActionBar.Fullscreen'.
Switching to API level 21 solves this, but I want to know if there is any way to use level 14. Project was building in the past for 14-th level and I only tweaked the UI since back then (Canvas, Buttons, Labels).
In Android manifest file you will have something like this:
<activity
android:name=".activities.FullViewActivity"
android:theme="@style/Theme.AppCompat.Light.NoActionBar.FullScreen"
/>
just remove the android:theme line
android:theme="@style/Theme.AppCompat.Light.NoActionBar.FullScreen"
