ANSWER REQUIRED NOW: inactive character controller with bolt
CHANGING THE STEP OFFSET DOES NOT WORK.
This is the script for cube1 in my game with magnet-based game where 'PlayerCube' changes polarity to attract and repel other cubes.
I need to finish the game ASAP for a college assignment but I can't test the physics until PlayerCube's charactercontroller starts working. Cube1 detects when the scene var PlayerPolarity becomes 2 and it's supposed to use PlayerCube's character controller to pull PlayerCube towards itself, but either "the character controller is inactive" or "there's no charactercontroller on cube1 even though the flow machine SPECIFIES THAT IT MEANS THE CONTROLLER IN PLAYERCUBE". I've changed the "step offset" to all kinds of things, but NOTHING CHANGED. I haven't been able to program repulsion, or the oppositely-charged Cube2. Everything should be working but this one problem has been stopping it for weeks, and I need to fix it now.
